Urban Mobility Systems B.V. (UMS) is a leading provider of innovative mobility solutions based in Oss. We specialize in designing, producing, and maintaining advanced electric vehicles and related infrastructure.
As of June 2025, UMS will become part of the publicly traded German company DEUTZ. UMS will join a new (green) division within DEUTZ. The goal of the acquisition is to accelerate UMS’s growth, and revenue is expected to increase at least fivefold in the coming years.
To support this growth, we are looking for an ambitious finance professional who is hands-on but also keeps the bigger picture in mind. Over the next year, UMS will be restructuring its financial function; nearly all financial processes will be reviewed. Additionally, all internal financial reporting needs to be established. We are looking for someone to take the lead in this, inspire and guide the administrative staff, and be coached by the group CFO.
- Responsible for the financial administration, including reviewing tax filings
- Lead the finance department; it's a developing team, and together with the staff (2 FTE), you will divide responsibilities. The aim is for you to increasingly act as a business partner while the administration runs independently
- Prepare and revise budgets
- Prepare for and assist during audits and inspections
- Create periodic reports: monthly results, cash flow, inventory, etc.
- Be a driver of continuous improvement
- The most important quality is ambition: the willingness and perseverance to build and develop the department. You must have the drive to dive into the details
- A direct communicator; you’ll work in a production environment
- Completed HBO/WO (bachelor's/master's) education in a financial field
- Relevant financial experience
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written in Dutch and English
- Excellent Excel skills
