Operations Manager Logistics & Warehouse

As an Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced international e-commerce environment. You are visible on the shop floor, ensuring that all inbound and outbound shipments are processed safely, accurately, and within the required timelines. Throughout the day, you monitor workloads, guide operational teams, set clear priorities, and resolve operational bottlenecks immediately. You maintain close contact with internal departments, external operational partners, and customs to ensure continuity and high service quality.

Responsibilities

• Taking full ownership of the daily warehouse and logistics operations.
• Leading, supporting, and motivating the operational teams.
• Monitoring shipment flows and taking corrective actions during delays or disruptions.
• Ensuring customer requirements and agreed SLAs are consistently achieved.
• Maintaining effective communication with Planning, Customer Service, Customs, and external handlers.
• Tracking operational KPIs and implementing practical process improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with operational, customs, safety, and security procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, air cargo, or freight forwarding.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of inbound and outbound warehouse processes.
• Professional working proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
• Practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and logistics systems.
• Flexibility to support the operation when operationally required.
• Ability to obtain a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct) and airport/DNATA access credentials.
