Wat je gaat doen
As an operator at Perfetti Van Melle, you’ll contribute to the production of the well-known candy, Mentos. You’ll be responsible for ensuring a smooth packaging process and making sure our products reach customers around the world in top quality. In this role, you’ll work in a 3-shift system, where you’ll deal daily with mechanical issues and quality checks. Your experience in operating machinery and your keen eye for detail make a real difference in maintaining an efficient production process.
- Morning shift from 07:00- 15:00
- Afternoon shift from 15:00- 23:00
- Night shift from 23:00- 07:00
- Monitoring: Oversee the packaging line and independently resolve minor malfunctions; for more complex issues, you’ll collaborate with the technical team
- Ensuring: Make sure the production line is continuously supplied with the right materials to prevent downtime
- Performing: Carry out quality checks, report deviations, and suggest improvements
- Collaborating: Work with fellow operators to ensure an efficient production process and support one another as needed
- Contributing: Help foster a positive working atmosphere within a mid-sized team

- Experience as an operator in a production environment
- Affinity with the food industry or work experience in the food industry
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift schedule
- Own transport to come to the work
- Knowledge of the English language
- Problem-solving skills and a team-oriented work attitude
Perfetti Van Melle is located in Breda, a well-accessible site close to the highway. This is where we produce Mentos, with production starting in the preparation department and the final product moving on to the packaging department.When you start as an operator, you'll receive a thorough introduction, including an e-learning module on safety regulations.
