About Ask Aletta
Ask Aletta is a secure AI-powered search engine that helps healthcare professionals find reliable medical information in seconds.
We started from a problem our co-founder Tijs (pediatrician) experienced firsthand: doctors needed quick access to guidelines, protocols, and clinical resources, but this information was scattered across dozens of sources. Finding the right answer often meant searching through multiple websites, PDFs, and reference materials, or simply not finding it at all.
We built a unified search and discovery platform trained on medical guidelines and clinical resources. Instead of juggling multiple sources or settling for incomplete information, doctors get precise answers to the practical questions they face in their daily work.
The Role
Ask Aletta started as a search and discovery tool, a place where doctors go to find answers. As we prepare for MDR certification, we're making a deliberate shift: from a destination to an embedded part of clinical workflows. That means integrating directly into the systems doctors already use every day: their HIS, EPDs, medical scribes, hospital intranets, and other clinical tools.
This pivot is central to our next phase, and so is this role. We're looking for a partnerships manager who can make it happen. Someone who builds the relationships and integration pathways that move Ask Aletta from "a tab in the browser" to "wired into how medicine gets practiced."
You'll find and close integration partnerships, manage existing partner relationships, and ideally think along technically about how integrations should work. You'll work directly with our co-founders and engineering team to turn partnership opportunities into shipped integrations that drive real adoption.
TasksWhat You'll Do
- Build and manage relationships with HIS vendors, EPD providers, scribe platforms, and clinical tool makers to create integration pathways for Ask Aletta
- Identify which integrations will have the biggest impact on adoption and retention, and prioritize accordingly
- Work with our engineering team on integration design: understanding APIs, data flows, and what's technically feasible so you can negotiate deals that actually get built
- Manage the full partnership lifecycle, from cold outreach and first conversations through contract negotiation to ongoing relationship management
- Support enterprise sales by explaining our integration capabilities to hospital IT departments and practice managers
- Help shape our integration strategy as we move toward MDR certification, understanding how being embedded in clinical workflows strengthens our regulatory and commercial position
- Represent Ask Aletta at industry events, conferences, and in professional networks where partnership opportunities come up
Essential:
- Experience building and managing technology partnerships. You've done the work of getting two products to talk to each other, not just signing agreements that go nowhere.
- You understand the Dutch healthcare IT landscape: you know what a HIS is, you have a sense of who the major vendors are, and you understand why integration in healthcare is harder than it sounds.
- Commercial instinct combined with technical curiosity. You can hold a business conversation with a partner CEO and then sit down with engineers to discuss API specs.
- Self-directed and resourceful. This is a role where you'll need to figure things out, not follow a playbook.
- You use AI tools daily to work faster. We're an AI-native company and we expect the same mindset from everyone who joins. If you're still doing everything manually, this probably isn't the right fit.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
Bonus points:
- Background in solution engineering, technical pre-sales, or a similar role where you sat between commercial and technical teams
- Direct experience with healthcare IT systems
- Experience in regulated industries. You understand that compliance isn't a blocker but a feature.
- Network in the Dutch healthcare IT ecosystem
- Competitive compensation package with equity
- Minimum 25 holiday days (we encourage taking more when you need it)
- Real ownership: you'll define our integration and partnership strategy, not execute someone else's
- Direct collaboration with founders who value your input
- Work that matters: your partnerships will determine whether tens of thousands of doctors across Europe get instant access to the information they need
- Remote-first work culture with ~3 days/week together at our Amsterdam office (WG-plein 316)
- Flexible, results-oriented environment. We care about outcomes, not hours.
- All the (AI) tools you need to become your most efficient self
Why This Role Matters
Ask Aletta already serves thousands of daily users. But most of them come to us through a browser tab. That was enough for our first chapter: search and discovery. The next chapter is workflow integration. Being inside the systems doctors use, surfacing the right information at the right moment without them having to look for it.
This shift isn't optional. MDR certification opens the door to clinical workflow integration. The partnerships you build determine whether we're ready to walk through it. If you want to be the person who wires Ask Aletta into the infrastructure of Dutch (and eventually European) healthcare, this is the role.
