Powder Coater

You know how to apply an even layer, perform a color change, and recognize a deviation before it's too late. As a Powder Coater, you are responsible for the execution of the powder coating work in the spray booth — accurately, safely, and in accordance with the customer's quality requirements. Operational work with direct influence on the end result, in a 2-shift system.

You will be working for a specialized manufacturer of stainless steel products in Oosterhout. The company develops and produces everything in-house — from standard products to custom solutions — and serves clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

The production environment is modern and well-equipped. It is a company with a close-knit team culture of approximately 70 employees, 55 of whom are in production, that actively invests in the development of its people.

As a Powder Coater, you are responsible for manually applying powder coating layers in the spray booth. You perform color changes, clean the equipment, and check layer thickness, adhesion, and finish. You work according to the production plan and record order data and process deviations.

Before starting, you always check the result of the previous processing step. You proactively report quality deviations, contribute to improvements in the powder coating process, and always work in accordance with safety and occupational health regulations. The position is physically demanding — you stand a lot and work with arm and shoulder strength.

Tasks:

• Manually applying powder coating layers in the spray booth
• Performing color changes and cleaning equipment
• Checking layer thickness, adhesion, and finish, and reporting deviations
• Recording order data and following the production plan
• Checking the result of the previous processing step
• Contributing to improvements in the powder coating process and work methods

• Experience in spray or coating work, preferably powder coating
• Knowledge of the powder coating process, quality standards, and raw materials is a plus
• Willing to work in a 2-shift system
• Meticulous and quality-oriented work attitude
• Physically resilient — job requires a lot of standing and working with personal protective equipment
• Good command of Dutch and/or English language (verbal and written)
• Own accommodation required

• Gross hourly wage of €17,00 - €22,16 (including shift allowance of 14%)
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km
• Weekly payout
• 25 days of holiday per year (based on full-time)
• Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pensionable salary
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• Working hours: early shift 06:00-14:45 / late shift 14:30-22:30
• After 1,040 hours worked, possibility of a permanent contract with the client
