Powder Coater

Are you meticulous and have an eye for quality? For a specialist in powder coating in Tilburg, we are looking for a powder coater/sprayer who provides products with a high-quality powder coating. Craftsmanship, a close-knit working atmosphere, and working according to the highest quality standards.

You will be working with a specialist in powder coating, active for clients in construction and industry. The company provides products such as cladding, window frame profiles, lighting fixtures, and advertising displays with a high-quality powder coating, to protect against weather influences and corrosion. You will be working with a small, close-knit team where the core values of human, craftsmanship, and connecting are central. The company places a strong emphasis on quality and operates according to the recognized Qualicoat and Qualisteelcoat standards.

As a powder coater, you will work in various departments within the coating process: pretreatment, hanging, powder preparation, powdering (coating), and packing. You apply electrostatic powder to products made of aluminum or sendzimir galvanized steel, using a robotic booth, manual booth, or wet paint booth. You work accurately according to the order ticket and check materials for defects such as scratches, dents, rust, or silicone contamination before coating. You perform color changes, maintain powder records, and check the quality of the final result (coating thickness, gloss, color, uniformity). Additionally, you work according to the 5S principles: you keep your workplace clean, structured, and organized. You work from Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 16:15, and on Friday from 07:00 to 12:15.

• Pre-treating material (degreasing, etching, passivating)
• Hanging products on traverse beams
• Preparing and applying powder coating (robotic, manual, or wet paint booth)
• Setting and adjusting the spray booth (belt/spray speed)
• Performing color changes
• Checking material for defects (scratches, dents, rust, silicone, sawdust)
• Maintaining powder coating records and order tickets
• Checking quality (coating thickness, gloss, color)
• Packing coated products
• Keeping the workplace clean

• Accurate and reliable work attitude
• Technical insight and affinity with a production environment
• Willing to follow education, courses, and training
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Physically resilient (lifting up to 25 kg, heavier loads with aids)
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language (oral and written)

• Gross hourly wage: €15,80 - €18,00
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel allowance of € 0.23 per km

• 25 vacation days per year
• Pension accrual of 23.4% of the pensionable salary
• 38 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:15, Friday 07:00-12:15
