As a Machine Operator at Brightfiber Textiles, you will play a crucial part in our production process. Your key responsibilities include:
- Operating, inspecting, and maintaining machinery and equipment.
- Performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs to prevent malfunctions.
- Promptly addressing technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Analyzing mechanical and electrical faults and proposing solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues and supervisors to optimize processes.
- Training new employees in machine operation and maintenance, sharing knowledge to strengthen the team.
- A completed MBO-3 or MBO-4 education in a relevant field such as Allround Operational Technician, Mechatronics, or Process Technology (Operator C).
- Practical experience with forklift operation.
- Availability to work five days a week.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English; knowledge of Turkish is a plus due to the machinery.
- Knowledge and/or experience with electrical engineering is a plus.
- A hands-on mentality, team spirit, and a positive, entrepreneurial attitude.

We transform discarded clothing into high-quality raw materials, produce our own yarn collection, and supply fabrics and textile end products for the B2B market, serving both the fashion and workwear sectors. Our fully closed production chain uses minimal water or dyes, making our process exceptionally sustainable. By the end of 2024, we will open our new factory in Amsterdam's west axisthe first in the Netherlands to process local textile waste streams into end products. Our goal is to accelerate the transition to a circular textile chain and stimulate the local manufacturing industry.
