Production Operator – Bergschenhoek

As a Production Operator, you will rotate between three key departments based on production needs, so flexibility is essential. Here’s what your day could look like:

Roasting Department:

• Operate and monitor large industrial roasting ovens for nuts
• Prepare and load products into machines
• Adjust roasting time and temperature based on product requirements
• Monitor product quality throughout the process
• Record production data and report technical issues
• Clean equipment and maintain strict hygiene standards
• Work with your team to ensure a smooth production flow

Manual Packing Department:

• Manually pack nut products into cartons and boxes
• Label and prepare packages for transport
• Check quality and quantity of finished products
• Keep your workplace clean and organized
• Work steadily to meet daily packing targets

Packaging/Production Department:

• Operate and monitor packaging machines for efficient production
• Perform regular quality checks on products
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues
• Maintain a tidy workspace

You’ll work full-time in a three-shift system from Monday to Saturday. Shifts are:

• Morning: 6:00 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
• Afternoon: 2:00 p.m. – 10:45 p.m.
• Night: 10:00 p.m. – 6:45 a.m.

• At least 1 year of experience in a production or machine operator role
• Experience in the food industry is a plus
• Vmbo level of working and thinking
• Able to communicate in English or Dutch
• Available for rotating shifts
• Able to follow strict food safety and hygiene procedures
• Able to commute to Bergschenhoek (max. 40 km)
• Flexible to work in different departments as needed

• Salary from €16.28 to €16.63 gross per hour, depending on experience
• Shift allowance: 14% (2 shifts), 19% (3 shifts)
