As a production worker at Van Gelder Groente & Fruit, you make sure that fresh vegetables and fruit are processed into high-quality products for the foodservice industry. You work in a modern production environment where hygiene and quality are key. Your tasks are varied and no day is the same. You will peel, cut, and pack vegetables and fruit, finish meal salads on the production line, and check the weight and correct labels. You also keep machines and tools clean and tidy. You work from Monday to Saturday, always five days a week with two days off. This is a day shift role, with start times between 06:00 and 08:00 and end times between 16:00 and 17:00
- Peeling, removing seeds, and cutting vegetables and fruit (manually and by machine)
- Packing and repacking fresh products according to instructions
- Completing salads and dishes on the production line
- Manually filling containers and checking the correct weight
- Checking labels, expiry dates, and sealing of packaging
- Cleaning and maintaining machines and tools
- Working in a flexible day shift with varying start and end times

- You speak and read Dutch
- You can work independently and as part of a team
- You are available full-time and willing to work flexibly (Monday to Saturday)
- You live within 50 km of Ridderkerk
