Project Manager ERP Infor LN

The Job:

As Project Manager ERP Infor LN you are responsible for a highly challenging project in a high-end precision environment (Semi-con, Solar, Medical, Analytical). You have a responsibility to provide a stable ERP platform to support both development, prototyping and volume production for us as a first tier supplier. VDL ETG is a contract manufacturer and VDL ETG works on customer orders only.

Tasks & responsibilities:

You manage the project with a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled employees and secure a timely delivery within the budget provided. This project is part of a roadmap to improve digital integration to enable smarter, better, faster and cheaper operations. The initial implementation and the improvement projects thereafter will take at least 2 years.

This role reports to the IT Business Partner Digital Transformation

Responsibilities:

• Cooperate and understand customer needs and organize proper resource to build up the project scope;
• Managing stakeholders: external partners, implementation teams in other ETG units, as well as internal stakeholders at various managerial levels and functional domain;
• Ensure resource availability and allocation;
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress;
• Manage the stage gates for a safe introduction and improvement loops of the ERP system;
• Manage the changes in project scope, schedule and costs;
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques, and review/ report/ escalate to management or project steering as needed;
• Perform risk management to minimize project threats;
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Your profile

• Knowledge and experience in Infor LN ERP implementations;
• Professional project management skills, preferably certified (PMP, PRINCE2);
• At least 5 to 10 years' experience as a project leader in ERP implementations with proven track record;
• The ability to challenge the internal organization on standardization and the use of ERP. You are an innovative thinker;
• Affinity with Manufacturing environments (machining, sheet metal, assembly, testing & qualification) has our strong preference;
• Strong stakeholder management is key, a people manager – capable to influence people. You are a pro-active, analytical, creative person with a “can do” mentality;
• Capable of raising the competence level of both individuals as teams.
