The position: Quality Engineer
We are looking for a highly motivated professional to join the Quality Assurance team. As a Quality Engineer, you are a critical member of our team, responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes from raw material receipt through final product shipment. You will also be responsible for ensuring that QMS procedures and Work Instructions are properly followed to reduce the risk of quality issues and improve the overall efficiency of quality processes within the facility. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of quality methodologies and a passion for achieving excellence.
This is an onsite position at our Almere facility.
Primary responsibilities
- Review and update quality specific work instructions (Dimensional, NDI, etc.).
- Be a key member of the Quality Clinic team and utilize performance data to drive RCCA activity.
- Support the Quality Control team with inspection processes, including the verification and final approval of inspection reports where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with QMS requirements, through internal audits and assessments of the shop floor and support processes.
- Support internal and external audits on site.
- Support PPAP activity, including the review and approval of First Article Inspections.
- Apply continuous improvement to develop and drive the effective implementation of solutions that enhance the robustness and efficiency of quality processes.
- Support management and maintenance of QMS documentation ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.
Your qualifications
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, aerospace technology, mechanical engineering, or another related field.
- You have 3-5 years of work experience in quality.
- You have experience with quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- You have knowledge and experience of improvement methodologies (Lean and Six Sigma).
- Experience with manufacturing processes in the aerospace industry is a plus.
- You have strong analytical skills and can interpret technical data.
- You are proficient in both the Dutch and English language, written and spoken.
