Join an international team of over 130 experts at Philips to ensure the quality and reliability of healthcare products from development to sustaining. You'll apply advanced quality practices and drive continuous improvement on complex R&D projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design for Quality & Reliability: Apply and promote DfX, DfSS, and other quality best practices. Define and manage quality and reliability requirements.
  • Risk Management: Lead risk analysis activities like FMEA and FTA. Plan and execute validation, verification, and optimization testing.
  • Training & Deployment: Coach R&D teams on quality tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and support the global deployment of quality practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify quality improvement opportunities and use methods like DMAIC, PDCA, and Kaizen to develop actionable plans.
  • Stakeholder Management: Deliver quality deliverables on time and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across all levels.



Functie-eisen

Your Profile:

  • Master’s or PhD in Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 2+ years of R&D experience, with a preference for regulated or medical device environments.
  • Proven experience with DfR/DfSS, risk management tools, and manufacturing quality.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinker with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Fluent in English and open to occasional travel.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

Primary employment conditions

  • Monthly salary as per market standards
  • A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically
  • 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries

Secondary employment conditions
