Service Technician - Venlo

As a Service Technician at Mifa, you will be part of the Technical Services department and responsible for keeping production machinery and technical installations reliable and operational.

You will work with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting technical failures and performing repairs and overhauls. You will independently analyse machine problems, identify their root causes and determine the correct repair method.

Your responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting and analysing technical machine failures
• Identifying root causes and determining the correct repair method
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
• Repairing and replacing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components
• Carrying out partial and complete machine overhauls
• Performing internal calibration procedures
• Carrying out machine modifications together with Engineering
• Testing machines and equipment after repairs or modifications
• Reading and working with technical drawings and electrical and mechanical schematics
• Recording maintenance activities, working hours and used materials in the maintenance system
• Updating technical drawings and schematics when required
• Supporting Technical Services projects and cooperating with external suppliers

Mifa Aluminium B.V., based in Venlo, specializes in high-precision aluminium and magnesium extrusion and manufacturing. The company delivers advanced solutions including precision extrusion, CNC machining, surface treatment, assembly and finishing.

• MBO-level technical education or comparable technical experience
• Experience in industrial maintenance, technical service or machine maintenance
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Knowledge and experience with hydraulic systems
• Experience with troubleshooting and technical fault diagnosis
• Ability to independently analyse and solve technical problems
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
• A practical and hands-on approach to maintenance and repairs
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
• Safety- and quality-conscious working attitude
• Good communication skills in Dutch, English or German

• Salary between €3,074 and €4,501 gross per month, depending on experience and technical knowledge
