System Administrator

Als System Administrator bij Van den Bosch draag je bij aan het beheer, de stabiliteit en de beveiliging van onze IT‑infrastructuur. Je wordt onderdeel van het IT team en werkt vanuit ons hoofdkantoor in Erp. Onder begeleiding van ervaren collega’s ontwikkel je je in het vak en lever je een directe bijdrage aan betrouwbare en veilige IT‑diensten binnen onze organisatie.

In deze rol ondersteun je bij het installeren, configureren en onderhouden van servers, netwerken en IT‑systemen. Je monitort de prestaties van onze systemen en rapporteert bijzonderheden tijdig aan je collega’s. Ook pak je eerstelijns- en eenvoudige tweedelijns incidenten op en leer je hoe je deze efficiënt oplost of verder escaleert.

Daarnaast werk je mee aan beveiligingstaken, zoals updates, patches, back-ups en het volgen van securityrichtlijnen. Je beheert gebruikersaccounts en toegangsrechten en zorgt ervoor dat collega’s veilig en effectief kunnen werken. Je ontwikkelt jezelf stap voor stap richting een zelfstandige System Administrator die een belangrijke bijdrage levert aan een stabiele, moderne IT‑omgeving.

• Afgeronde mbo-4 of bachelor in IT, Computer Science of vergelijkbaar
• 0–2 jaar relevante werkervaring
• Basiskennis van netwerken, servers en IT‑omgevingen
• Bekend met het oplossen van IT‑incidenten en het werken volgens procedures
• Interesse in IT‑security, infrastructuur en systeembeheer
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal
• Leergierig, nauwkeurig en klantgericht

As a System Administrator at Van den Bosch, you will contribute to the management, stability, and security of our IT infrastructure. You will be part of the IT team, working from our headquarters in Erp. Guided by experienced colleagues, you will develop your skills while playing a key role in delivering reliable and secure IT services across the organisation.

In this role, you will support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and IT systems. You will monitor system performance, identify irregularities, and report findings to senior team members. You will handle first-line and basic second-line incidents, learning how to resolve them efficiently or escalate when needed.

You will also assist with security-related tasks such as updates, patches, backups, and adherence to IT security procedures. In addition, you will help manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring colleagues can work safely and effectively. Step by step, you will grow into a more independent System Administrator who helps maintain a stable and modern IT environment.

• MBO-4 or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Basic understanding of networks, servers, and IT environments
• Familiarity with incident resolution and working in a structured IT support setting
• Interest in IT security, infrastructure, and system administration
• Strong command of both Dutch and English
• Curious, accurate, and service‑oriented
