Technical Service Mechanic

What are your responsibilities?

As a mechanic, you are an indispensable link in our technical department. You ensure that malfunctions are solved quickly and adequately so that production continues as smooth as possible. You will supervise external mechanics, actively think about technical improvements and contribute to projects and the IWS improvement programme. It is needless to say that safety, cleanliness and diligence are very important to you, and you keep accurate records of your work.

What will you do?

·         Analysing  and resolving faults on machines, installations and packaging lines

·         Performing overhauls and preventive maintenance

·         Supervising external mechanics for specialist work

·         Participate in technical improvement projects and IWS initiatives

·         Providing safe, properly functioning machinery and equipment

·         Carefully maintain reports and records

·         Actively contribute to a safe, tidy and efficient working environment

What do we ask of you?

·         You have a diploma in the field of engineering (electro, mechanical engineering or mechatronics);

·         You have several years of work experience in a similar position;

·         you can read drawings well;

·         Fluent English language skills (oral and written) and willing to learn Dutch

·         You are a team player and have good social skills;

·         You are passionate about your profession, are eager to learn and progressive, you passionately participate in our IWS programme where 100% commitment and one way of working are key, you are result-oriented and persevere until this is achieved.

Our production location is in Hazerswoude-Dorp. This is where sustainability, flexibility and efficiency come together. A further +/- 90 employees work here. In addition, since December 2023, we have taken over the company Choco Support, which greatly strengthens our position in the chocolate products and chocolate clusters category.
