As a Technical Support & Implementation Engineer at GlobalFactories in The Hague, you won't deal with repetitive problems, limited influence, or the feeling of "What does my work actually achieve"? Instead, you'll work on complex issues, with room for content, autonomy, and international collaboration, from a beautiful building in The Hague.
We are looking for you because customers must be able to rely on automation systems that continue to function day and night. You ensure that implementations go smoothly, technology remains stable, and knowledge is transferred to customers and distributors. Without your efforts, delays, errors in the process, and uncertainty among international partners arise.
As a Technical Support & Implementation Engineer, you are the first point of contact for customers and distributors. Most of your work is done from our office in The Hague. Additionally, you will travel abroad several times a year for implementations, training, or customer support.
In this role, you will be involved in:
- Supporting international customers and distributors with technical issues related to hardware, software, and automation.
- Guiding implementations at customers, including preparation, coordination, and follow-up.
- Conducting international customer visits for implementations and support, several times a year.
- Performing software updates and technical checks remotely.
- Recording and sharing technical solutions, documentation, and methodologies for colleagues and partners.
- Collaborating with other teams such as Development, Product Management, and Sales in the sale and improvement of our products.

Functie eisen
You combine technical curiosity with oversight and responsibility. You work in a structured manner, communicate clearly, and feel comfortable in a role where you operate independently and interact with various parties.
In addition, you possess:
- Minimum of three years of relevant technical work experience.
- HBO work and thinking level in a technical direction.
- Affinity with mechanical engineering, automation, mechanics, and electronics.
- Good knowledge of mechanical engineering and automation (Microsoft Windows XP/7/8/10/11).
- Knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, networks, and protocols is a plus.
- Driving license B.
- Good command of the Dutch and English language.
