Warehouse Team Leader - Logistics Sector | Soesterberg

As a Warehouse Team Leader in Soesterberg, you play a key role in managing a busy warehouse environment. Your day starts with a stand-up meeting where you set the tone for your team. You guide, coach, and motivate employees while focusing on LEAN working practices. You’re hands-on in coordinating daily activities, monitoring work progress, and stepping in when adjustments are needed. Your responsibility is to ensure optimal personnel deployment, plan logistics for inbound and outbound goods using the WMS, and resolve operational issues as they arise. You also encourage your team members to work across different functions and contribute your own improvement ideas to make the warehouse run better. Compliance with legal and company standards, including RI&E, HACCP, and BRC, is part of your daily routine, as is participating in the emergency response structure. You’ll work a two-shift schedule: 05:00–14:00 and 14:15–23:15, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility required.

• MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking (vocational/higher professional)
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics setting (e.g., warehouse supervisor, logistics team leader)
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Solution- and result-oriented mindset with planning and organizational skills
• Knowledge of or experience with Lean principles is a plus
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
