Warehouse Worker – Groente & Fruit Ridderkerk

As a Warehouse Worker at Van Gelder Groente & Fruit in Ridderkerk, you are responsible for collecting, moving, and packing fresh products every day. You make sure orders are ready for shipment to clients in the food service sector. You’ll work among fresh vegetables and fruit in a clean and modern warehouse, where the temperature is always around 7°C. You will pick up boxes, stack them on pallets, and keep everything tidy. You’ll handle sharp knives and cutting machines, so safety and attention are important. You’ll also help keep the workspace and production area clean. This is a full-time job with various shifts, including weekdays and weekends. Working hours are flexible: Monday to Friday from 19:00 to 23:00 (125% allowance), 23:00 to 06:00 (140% allowance), Saturday from 15:00 to 19:00 (110% allowance), 19:00 to 23:00 (125% allowance), 23:00 to 06:00 (140% allowance), and on Sunday you even receive a 200% allowance.

• You have basic communication skills in English or Dutch
• You are available full-time and willing to work in shifts
• You can do physically demanding work and are able to work at a temperature of about 7°C
• You have experience as a warehouse worker, logistics worker, order picker, or a similar position (minimum 0 to 2 years)
• You follow safety and hygiene guidelines carefully
• You live within a maximum of 50 kilometers from Ridderkerk

• Salary between € 14,99 and € 21 gross per hour, depending on experience and shift allowances
