As a warehouse associate, you must meet the following requirements:
- you are looking for a summer job
- you are physically fit; lifting and stacking boxes is no problem for you
- you are at least 16 years old
- you are available for at least 3 weeks between weeks 31 and 35
- you are available for 24-40 hours per week on the two-shift schedule and for day shifts in week 35
So what does your workday look like? Theres plenty to do in the warehouse this summer. You start the day with your team. The team leader explains the plan. One day youll be picking up books, the next youll be packing boxes. Youll be walking and moving around a lot. Thats great for your fitness!
The work is done on a two-shift schedule, and in week 35 we will be working day shifts. The early shift runs from 7:00 AM to 2:45 PM, leaving the afternoon completely free. The late shift runs from 3:00 PM to 10:45 PM. That way, theres always plenty of time for fun activities and friends!
At VanDijk, youll be working in the warehouse of one of the largest schoolbook suppliers in the Netherlands. All schoolbooks for high school students are shipped from Kampen.
Theres a large terrace where you can relax in the sun during your break. Theres also a cafeteria with delicious sandwiches. Transportation? Taken care of! A free bus runs to and from Kampen. And the best part is that youll get to meet lots of new people along the way!
