Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing tax-related work performed by the shared service center in India.
- Ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance and adherence to relevant regulations.
- Reviewing reconciliations and monitoring VAT positions.
- Identifying tax risks and proposing improvements to processes and controls.
- Ensuring tax documentation is complete, accurate and audit-ready.
- Acting as a point of contact for auditors and tax authorities.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and the wider finance organization.
- Supporting the Tax Manager with ad-hoc tax matters and projects.

Functie eisen
- You have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the Netherlands specifically focused on Tax / Fiscal Studies. A general Finance degree is not sufficient for this position.
- You ideally have 3 to 5 years of relevant tax experience. More experience can also be considered depending on salary expectations.
- You have at least one year of professional experience in the Netherlands, giving you familiarity with Dutch tax regulations and working practices.
- You have solid knowledge of VAT and reconciliations.
- Experience with SAP is preferred. You have strong Excel skills.
- You are fluent in English; Dutch is considered a plus.
- You are proactive, hands-on and comfortable identifying risks and suggesting improvements.
- A driving licence and access to a car are required when working from Venlo, as the office is difficult to reach by public transport.
