Caravan Mechanic / Assembler

As a trainee Caravan Mechanic, you will work on the maintenance, repair, and modification of caravans in a specialized company that gives you all the space to grow. You will be working at a specialized caravan dealer and service company in North Brabant. The company is involved in the sale, customization, maintenance, and repair of caravans and is known for its personal service towards customers.

The workshop is professionally equipped, and the team is small and committed. New employees are given the space and guidance to master the trade step by step — including the opportunity to pursue relevant training. It is a stable work environment where someone with the right attitude and technical affinity can immediately get started and continue to develop.

As a Caravan Technician, you are responsible for the technical preparation and servicing of caravans, ensuring that customers can safely embark on their vacations. You will perform inspections, resolve complaints, and install accessories and systems.

You will work on a variety of technical components: from electrical, gas, and water installations to air conditioning, awnings, leveling systems, and bike racks. You don't need to know everything yet — the company will train you and provide the opportunity to obtain the necessary certifications. The most important thing is that you have a technical aptitude, are reliable, and are motivated to learn.

Duties:

• Conducting technical inspections and checks of caravans
• Installing movers, air conditioning, awnings, and leveling systems
• Resolving technical complaints related to electrical, gas, and water systems
• Mounting accessories such as bike racks and batteries
• Performing maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Technically guiding and resolving customer inquiries

• Some technical work experience, preferably with vehicles
• Hands-on attitude and eager to learn — the specific trade will be taught on the job
• Reliable, stable, and motivated for long-term commitment
• Good command of Dutch and/or English language (verbal and written)

Financial conditions:

• Gross hourly wage of €17.13
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km

Other conditions:

• Weekly payment
• 24 days of holiday per year (based on full-time)
• Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pensionable salary
• Minimum 40 hours per week, possibility for overtime (45-49 hours)
