CE Driver, Retail Distribution

You drive your route, manage your own day, and are home for dinner. As a CE Driver for supermarket distribution, you drive to one or two stores daily from a distribution center in the region. No long trips, no nights away - just good work with a strong hourly wage.

You will be working for a specialized transport company in Roosendaal that has been active in the distribution for the Dutch retail sector for decades. The company performs daily store deliveries for large supermarket chains and has a modern fleet of tractors with steered box trailers — specially equipped for deliveries in urban areas.

It is a stable, family-like organization with an informal culture and experienced drivers. Quality, reliability, and good cooperation with customers are central.

As a CE Driver, you will handle daily store deliveries for Dirk van den Broek, a major Dutch supermarket chain. You start your day at the distribution center in Bleiswijk, where you load the goods yourself using an electric pallet truck. Then, you drive to one or two stores where the store team assists you in unloading the roll containers. Afterward, you return the empty containers to the DC for your next trip.

You will be driving a regular box trailer with steered axles at the rear - which makes maneuvering in urban areas significantly easier. The workday starts early, between 04:30 and 06:30, and ends between 15:00 and 18:00.

Tasks:

• Independently loading goods at the DC with an electric pallet truck
• Delivering goods to one or two supermarket branches per trip
• Supervising the unloading process together with the store team
• Returning empty roll containers to the DC
• Accurately maintaining freight documentation
• Driving safely and carefully in compliance with current traffic laws

• Valid CE driving license and code95
• Proven experience as a CE driver, preferably with supermarket distribution or store deliveries
• Experience driving box trailers, preferably with steered axles
• Independent and reliable work attitude
• Willing to settle permanently in the Netherlands — candidates seeking a rotation arrangement are not
  suitable for this position
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language

• Base gross hourly wage: €20.24 (D6 CAO Road Freight Transport)
• ADV allowance: €0.27 per hour
• Net driver allowance of 7% per hour (on top of net salary)
• 8% holiday allowance (paid out weekly)
• Travel expense reimbursement of €0.23 per km
• Weekly payment
• 24 days of holiday per year (based on full-time)
• Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pension basis
• Structurally around 50 hours per week, sometimes more
• Stable working hours: start between 04:30 and 06:30, end between 15:00 and 18:00
