The Role
As Director Site Merchandising, you will lead the strategy and execution of product presentation, promotions, and site structure. You will be instrumental in enhancing navigation, filtering, and search capabilities, ensuring the platform is both inspiring and user-friendly. Your work will directly impact sales, customer satisfaction, and brand loyalty.
You will monitor performance, test new strategies, and refine merchandising content using analytics, customer insights, and third-party tools. Balancing creativity and commercial thinking, you ensure that the online store reflects the brand's identity while exceeding key performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Merchandising & Optimization: Strategically manage product placement, categorization, and presentation to boost visibility and conversion;
- Data-Driven Strategy: Analyze sales trends, engagement metrics, and customer behavior to continuously optimize the digital shopping experience;
- Campaign & Promotion Support: Align merchandising efforts with seasonal campaigns, marketing initiatives, and promotional calendars;
- UX & Navigation Enhancements: Lead improvements in site structure, filtering, and search functionality to create a seamless and intuitive shopping journey;
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with marketing, UX, buying, and analytics teams to ensure alignment between business goals and the consumer experience.

Functie eisen
* At least 7 years of experience in commercial e-commerce roles, ideally within an international, consumer-focused brand;* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into impactful action;
* A proven people leader who inspires, engages, and provides clear strategic direction to high-performing teams;
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels of the organization;
* A passion for digital innovation, consumer experience, and brand-building through e-commerce.
