Tasks

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and well-organized dishwashing area. This role ensures that all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned effectively and efficiently to support smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashers or by hand.

Ensure all dishes and kitchenware are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage areas.

Assist with trash disposal and recycling processes.

Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.

Report any maintenance issues or equipment failures to management.

Support kitchen staff with additional tasks as needed, such as restocking supplies and basic food prep.

Requirements

No formal education required; previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred.

Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Attention to cleanliness and detail.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.

Good communication skills and a team player attitude.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced, hot, and humid kitchen setting.

Requires physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items.
