Informatie
American Eagle is the global leading denim brand. Our aim is to be the world’s number 1 denim brand. As we expand our online presence in Europe, we are looking for a creative and proactive Graphic/Web Designer to support our EU ecommerce team and Shopify site.
Working closely with the Marketing Team, International Creative Services, and reporting directly to the E-commerce Manager, you will be responsible for designing visual assets across our Shopify website, paid campaigns, and email newsletter, with a primary focus on adapting and localizing global assets for the EU market. You will receive seasonal style guides, web sets, and email designs from our International Creative Services team and adjust them for the EU business, updating copy, imagery, and layouts to reflect the local buy, pricing, and promotions while staying true to global brand guidelines. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the visual identity of a growing brand and make a tangible impact on our online presence in Europe.
TasksKey Responsibilities:
- Design engaging digital assets for our Shopify store, including banners, product graphics, and landing pages, primarily by adapting global templates and toolkits for the EU assortment.
- Adapt homepage, PLP, PDP, and landing page modules from global toolkits, swapping imagery, product tiles, and hierarchy to reflect EU product priorities and seasonal stories.
- Create visuals for paid advertising campaigns across social media and other digital channels, following global guidelines while tailoring them to EU messaging and offers.
- Build and design email newsletters using Klaviyo to drive engagement and sales, using master templates provided by the global team and updating modules, copy, links, and images for EU needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team, merchants, and International Creative Services to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and alignment to seasonal priorities.
- Work efficiently with Figma files and deliver high-quality, production-ready assets with clear file naming, version control, and organized component libraries.
- Upload and QA assets on the EU Shopify site, ensuring correct placement, responsive behavior, working links, and basic accessibility standards.
- Support ongoing testing and optimization by providing visual variations for A/B tests across site and email.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in graphic/web design, ideally in e-commerce or retail.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating digital design skills.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience designing email campaigns in Klaviyo or similar platforms.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Shopify and e-commerce best practices – a plus.
- Experience working with global brand guidelines and adapting toolkits for regional or local markets.
- Highly organized, with strong production discipline and comfort working within existing templates and systems rather than building everything from scratch.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional partners in different locations and time zones.
