MM Flowers Europe B.V. is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of HR to lead and develop our local HR team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the go-to advisor for management, drive key HR initiatives, and ensure smooth execution of all HR operations, from onboarding to performance management. In this
What will you be doing?
- Being a “sounding board” for managers in HR-related business challenges such as retention, organizational challenges/changes, recruitment, team development etc..
- End-responsible for all HR admin processes with regards to onboarding, offboarding and changes documented and processed in the payroll.
- Implementing local HR policies and processes for the Netherlands.
- Initiating and leading local HR projects.
- Develop and implement HR Strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Leading the recruitment process, including selection and interviewing of candidates.
- Develop, monitor and implement overall HR policies, strategies, systems and procedures across the local organization.
- Ensures an up-to-date personnel system.
- Oversee and manage a performance management appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain payroll and benefits program.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout Human Resource Management.
- Collaborating with other local (MT) managers & H/management team in the UK.
- Provide and manage detailed HR reports including holiday records and headcount.
- Advise and support (MT) managers, supervisors, leads and employees with (operational) challenges.
- Participate in Moolenaar’s Directors meeting and local MT meetings.
- Advise Management on HR-related issues/challenges.
- Sickness management, short- and long term.
- Lead and support a team consisting of: local HR teams in De Kwakel & Voorhout (1.6 FTE), MHE & Operations Trainer (1 FTE), Facility Coordinator (0.6 FTE).
- Flexible working on both locations de Kwakel & Voorhout.
What do you bring?
- A degree in Human Resources (Master’s preferred) and HBO-level working experience.
- 5–7 years of proven experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and sickness legislation.
- Experience with HR systems (e.g., Protime, Easysecure, Humanwave) and Office365.
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- A strategic mindset with a hands-on, people-focused approach.
- Leadership experience with a collaborative and coaching style.
