• €750 internship allowance (based on 40 hours)

We are currently looking for a student who meets the following criteria:

• You are currently studying within: Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related studies
• You are fluent in English, fluency in Dutch is an advantage
• You have experience with Solidworks or Computer-aided design(CAD, this is consireded plus
• You have good programming experience with Matlab and Python
• You are available for 32 - 40 hours a week
• You are available for an Internship between 3-6 months

As an intern, you will work in a dynamic Research & Development environment under the supervision of an engineer or scientist in a multidisciplinary team that has expertise in the development of intraocular lenses, process development and metrology.

We have multiple projects within our department that you might be interested in of which a few are listed here:

• Improvement and automation of a test setup (script development)
• Process improvement
• Programming and automation
• Feasability studies
