Junior Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator
Our business operates in an environment that changes constantly, the Customer Service and Logistics department is continuously adapting its structure to match the needs of the business. As Junior Customer Service and Logistics Executive you will coordinate the administrative flow of all outgoing shipments in a cost-effective way for an assigned portfolio of customers ensuring that the customers are supplied in time and sales agreements are met.
Main responsibilities:
- Be the dedicated contact for an assigned portfolio of customers
- Handle customers’ orders from entry to ready for invoice
- Arrange the planning and logistics for the execution of the customer contracts
- To arrange the required documents for loading (T1, manual CoA, manual delivery notes, Certificates of Origins, Kosher certificates)
- Handle orders (entry in ERP system, coordinate changes, manage extra costs, ensure orders are made ready for invoicing on time)
- Coordinate loadings/deliveries with logistics service partners
- Deal with customers’ invoices queries and handle transport invoices
- Assess validate the weekly planning
- Handle customer complaints (register in system, inform sales) and logistics complaints towards suppliers
- Be the dedicated contact between Customer Service and our own factories, tolling partners and tank terminals
- Visit customers (with or without Sales) and logistics services providers
- Contact new customers to introduce operating principles
- Voice-back information from customers into the organization
- Look for solutions and leading implementation for improvement of KPIs (including freight P&L) under supervision of TL
- Be the back-up of Admin Support if necessary and requested by Team Lead
We are looking for a candidate with:
- MBO/HBO/bachelor’s degree or equivalent in work experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in comparable position preferably with an import/export company
- Speaking/reading/writing fluent English & Dutch, additional European languages are advantageous
- Experience with MS Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with ERP software, SAP is advantageous
