Our client is a leading warehousing operations company, that operates warehouses all over the world. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted partner to their clients, utilizing your skills in Java/J2EE, Spring frameworks, and SQL to tackle complex challenges in the company's software. You'll collaborate with internal teams and directly resolve critical technical issues, all while contributing to a culture of innovation and teamwork.

  • Provide Level 3 technical support to clients;
  • Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot issues and implement permanent fixes;
  • Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and development teams to resolve complex technical problems;
  • Maintain and uphold high-quality software code and comprehensive documentation;
  • Deliver remote support and troubleshooting for client systems, ensuring prompt resolution of issues;
  • Prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure environments to meet client needs;
  • Actively contribute to fostering a collaborative, team-oriented culture;
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues regarding technical issues and solutions;
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on software development practices and technologies relevant to client needs;
  • Facilitate the onboarding and training of new team members or clients as necessary;
  • Identify trends in client issues and collaborate on proactive solutions to preempt future problems;
  • Support implementation and integration processes for new technology or software updates as required.

This is a great permanent remote role, with a base salary of €70K - €78K per year. Aside from the base salary, there will be many other secondary benefits which we'd be happy to discuss over a phone call.

During this interview we will inform you as fully as possible about the vacancy, the company and the following steps in the procedure. Functie eisen

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field;
* 5-6 years of direct software customer support and development experience;
* 4+ years of experience in Core Java/J2EE, with strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring Data JPA;
* Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle or other major databases;
* Familiarity with Web Services, Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and unit testing frameworks;
* Understanding of distributed architectures and design patterns;
* Experience in time-sensitive, high-transaction environments;
* Excellent English communication skills (oral and written);
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills;
* Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams and stakeholders on all levels;
* Experience with Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) / Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) is a big plus;
* High flexibility - This position may require an 8-10 hour weekend shift (Saturday & Sunday), with 2- 3 weekdays off depending on the shift schedule.
