As a logistics assistant at GLS in Zwolle, you will contribute to the seamless flow of packages within our logistics operations. Your role is essential in ensuring that packages are sorted, loaded, and delivered on time, all while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. With fixed morning shifts, you’ll have your afternoons free, making this role ideal for those seeking a balanced work schedule. Your physical stamina, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset will be key to your success.
What You Will Do:
- Unload: packages from trucks and containers to prepare them for sorting.
- Sort: packages based on their destinations to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load: and stack packages into trucks for efficient transportation.
- Perform: physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and moving packages safely.
- Support: with additional tasks like cleaning and organizing the workspace.
- Hourly salary of €14.80, excluding allowances.
- Temporary contract with the prospect of extension.
- Part-time role of 20 hours per week.
- 8% holiday allowance for extra financial support.
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
- Fixed morning shifts, leaving your afternoons free.
