You prefer to build something rather than tear it down. As a Machinebouwmonteur, you are one of the pivotal points in the production of automated machines — from mechanical assembly to electrotechnical work. Working in a small, self-managing team with a lot of freedom and responsibility.
Waar je komt te werken:You will be working for an innovative machine builder in Rijen, specialized in designing, building, and delivering automated machines worldwide. Think of bag cutting machines, IBC handling installations, and internal transport systems for customers in various industries.
It is a compact organization with an informal culture and short lines - no unnecessary bureaucracy, but direct cooperation and personal responsibility. Employees are given a lot of freedom to organize their work and are encouraged to take initiatives. Wat je gaat doen:As a Machine Assembly Technician, you will work together with colleagues to assemble machines in a timely and meticulous manner. Your tasks are both mechanical and electrotechnical in nature — depending on your strengths, there is room for internal training or courses to further develop your skills.
You will work in a self-managing team where your own initiative and decisiveness are valued. You don't need to ask for permission for everything — you take charge, collaborate with a colleague, and get it done. Occasionally, you will visit clients on-site.
Tasks:
- Mechanical assembly of automated machines
- Performing electrotechnical tasks during assembly
- Collaborating with colleagues to deliver machines on time and correctly
- Identifying and solving technical problems during the construction process
- Visiting clients on-site when necessary
- Contributing to improvements in the construction process
- Technical work experience in mechanical engineering or a similar sector
- Basic knowledge of both mechanical and electrical engineering
- Independent and decisive - you dare to make your own choices
- Eager to learn and willing to further develop yourself
- Good command of the Dutch and/or English language (oral and written)
- Driving license B is a plus
- Gross hourly wage of €17.62 + ATV allowance of 5%
- 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
- Travel expenses reimbursement of €0.23 per km
- Weekly payment
- 24 vacation days per year (based on full-time)
- Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pensionable salary
- Minimum 40 hours per week
