Plastic Pipe Fitter

You build complete plastic piping systems on projects that run for months or even years. No throwaway jobs — clean workspaces and quality materials instead. Fixed day shift, 40 hours per week, no structural overtime. Experience with plastic welding is a bonus — technical insight matters more.

You will be working for a specialist company in Oss that designs, produces and installs plastic piping systems. Think drainage, ventilation and technical piping systems in large-scale commercial and public buildings — including healthcare facilities.

This is a technical company where craftsmanship comes first. Workspaces are clean and organised, the tools are certified and well maintained, and nobody cuts corners on materials. As a fitter, you notice this every single day: you can focus on the work you came to do, without wasting time on broken equipment or a chaotic site.

The projects are large and long-running. You often work at the same location for months or even years, in a fixed team of fellow fitters. That means stability, familiar faces and the chance to build a system from start to finish — instead of turning up somewhere new every week.

Communication lines are short. If you have an idea about how something could be done faster or more safely, you won't hear "that's just how we do it here". You'll get the space to show it.

As a plastic pipe fitter, you install piping systems on the project site. You read the drawing, cut the pipe sections to size and connect them into a working system. The welding is done in plastic — butt welding and socket welding in materials such as HDPE and polypropylene. If you have experience with this, great. If you don't, but you have technical insight and good practical skills, you will learn it here from colleagues who have been doing it for years.

You start between 05:30 and 07:00 and work eight hours a day. Breaks are in your own time. An early start also means an early finish: your afternoon is yours. Overtime is not part of the job — 40 hours means 40 hours.

The work is varied because every project is different. One job focuses on large main pipelines, the next on precision work in a technical room. You work independently on your own section, but always within a team that backs each other up.

Your tasks:

• Installing plastic piping systems on project sites
• Working from technical drawings and specifications
• Plastic welding: butt welding and socket welding (HDPE, PP)
• Cutting and finishing pipe sections to size
• Keeping your workspace clean and safe
• Thinking along about the execution and flagging problems early

• Technical insight: you understand how a system fits together and work accurately with tools
• Experience with plastic welding (butt welding, socket welding, HDPE, PP) is a plus, not a requirement
• An early start between 05:30 and 07:00 is no problem for you
• In possession of an EU passport — a residence permit is not sufficient
• Good command of Dutch and/or English (spoken and written)

• Gross hourly rate of €16.50 to €20.00, depending on your experience

• 40 hours per week on day shift, no structural overtime

• Working hours: start between 05:30 and 07:00, eight hours per day

• 8% holiday allowance, paid out weekly

• Weekly salary payment

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre

• 25 holiday days based on full-time employment

• Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pension base
