Your Role
As a Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, the warehouse team, and the Head of Supply Chain & Procurement of the LOEWE Group to optimize purchasing and inventory processes.
Your Responsibilities
Procurement
- Ensure timely procurement of materials with the right specifications and best possible pricing.
- Manage product-related purchases based on project requirement forms from project and sales managers.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers within defined limits and support supplier contract management.
- Conduct price inquiries, prepare offer comparisons, and maintain supplier and article data in the ERP system.
- Support master data maintenance and monitor the performance of operational procurement (if applicable).
- Coordinate office-related outsourcing activities (e.g. cleaning, workplace maintenance).
Inventory Management & Warehouse
- Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient material availability in close coordination with the Warehouse Manager.
- Oversee correct inventory management both physically and in the ERP system.
- Resolve delivery shortages and handle daily transport-related matters.
Communication & Collaboration
- Liaise with Project Managers regarding project-related purchases and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager on warehouse and logistics processes.
- Report directly to the Head of Supply Chain & Procurement regarding all purchasing-related topics.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure safe working practices and use of personal protective equipment.
- Dispose of waste materials in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Report and document near-misses or unsafe situations.
What You Bring
- A degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or relevant work experience.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Navision, or similar).
- A hands-on, structured and solution-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English; Dutch or German is an advantage.
