Production Operator

As a Production Operator, you help produce high-quality plastic windows and doors for motorhomes, caravans, and supermarket refrigeration units. The factory consists of multiple departments with different production processes, making the work varied and challenging.

Your tasks include:

• Removing protective film from acrylic sheets and blowing off dust particles with anti-static air

• Preparatory work such as washing, exposing and screening/filming screens

• Heating sheets and placing them into the press machine

• Milling and sawing operations

• Performing quality checks to ensure a perfect end product

You mainly work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. This is a 2-shift position with the following working hours:

• 06:30 – 15:00

• 15:00 – 23:30

• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written

• Willing to work in shifts

• Available full-time

• Gross hourly wage of €15.61 (including ADV allowance)

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km (from 10 km)

• 14% shift allowance for working in a 2-shift schedule

• 25 vacation days per year

• 8% holiday pay

This family-owned company is part of an international organisation. Around 500 employees work in Rotterdam on the production of high-quality acrylic glass for, among others, motorhomes, caravans and boats. The site is easy to reach: Schiedam Centrum metro and train station are about a 15-minute walk away. Free parking and bicycle storage are available.
