The Consumer Research team represents the consumer within the Innovation and Development organization. This role supports product categories like shaving, grooming, and IPL. The key mission is to identify consumer needs and translate these insights throughout the innovation process. Activities start with supporting value proposition definition and feature development. The role ensures delivery on the consumer promise for our Philips Value Propositions. You will perform and support clinical and consumer testing. Testing is crucial to deliver early evidence on desired consumer satisfaction. You will conduct activities to set-up test protocols, execute tests, and report out on the results. You will work closely with consumer researchers and clinical functions. This involves various types of UX and User Research. You are expected to be a T-shaped candidate, skilled in at least one competence but capable of applying knowledge broadly.
As a Research Facilitator, you will take ownership of the E2E (end-to-end) execution of internal studies and provide critical support for external research:
- Study Planning & Protocol: Support researchers in defining research protocols and setting up studies.
- Execution & Fieldwork: Plan and conduct studies, including full accountability for the E2E execution of studies performed in internal research facilities (coordination of recruitment, questionnaires, fieldwork, test reports, and datasets).
- Respondent Interaction: Closely interact with respondents during tests to retrieve relevant information, ensuring you represent Philips professionally. Dutch is a must for effective contact with participants.
- SOP & Equipment Management: Own and maintain relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs), data collection tools, and test equipment.
- External Support: Accountable for supporting work packages for external research studies
Functie-eisen
- Bachelor's Degree (e.g.,UX Design, Computer Science Engineering) OR a Vocational Education with relevant experience is required.
- Must be fluent in Dutch to interact with test participants.
- Make regular visits (about once a month) to the facility in Drachten.
- A hands-on approach to conducting research is essential.
- You need a curious, outward focus on consumers and customers.
- Experience in User Research and/or Clinical Research is preferred.
- Proven track record of compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
- Professionally interact with consumers from diverse backgrounds.
- You must be able to take ownership, work independently, and be methodical.
- Knowledge of statistical tools and software approaches is valued.
- You must have flexibility to work outside 9am-5pm when tests require it.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Primary employment conditions:
- A good salary as per market standards.
- 13th month salary
- 8.33% holiday pay calculated over 12 monthly salaries.
