Binnen onze procurementafdeling zijn wij op zoek naar een enthousiaste stagiair(e) die wil meewerken aan een uitdagend en impactvol automatiseringsproject. Onze leveranciers maken duizenden afspraken met onze procurementafdeling, denk aan zo’n 2000 connecties en ruim 7000 opslaglocaties, die momenteel handmatig worden vertaald en vastgelegd in ons systeem (Quintiq). Dat kost veel tijd en capaciteit… en daar willen wij verandering in brengen.

Jouw missie? Onderzoeken hoe we dit proces met behulp van AI en slimme tooling volledig kunnen automatiseren.

• Procesanalyse: in kaart brengen hoe afspraken tussen leveranciers en procurement nu worden verwerkt;
• Data-onderzoek: analyseren van de inputformaten en structuur van leveranciersdata;
• AI-verkenning: ontdekken welke AI-modellen en automatiseringsoplossingen kunnen worden ingezet voor datavertaling en systeeminvoer;
• Proof of Concept bouwen (optioneel): bijvoorbeeld een AI-script of workflow die automatisch data herkent en omzet naar invoer voor Quintiq;
• Advies uitbrengen over implementatie en impact op capaciteit en kwaliteit.

Jouw profiel:

• Je volgt een HBO- of WO-opleiding in de richting van Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Technische Bedrijfskunde, Informatica of vergelijkbaar;
• Je hebt affiniteit met AI, automatisering of procesoptimalisatie;
• Je werkt gestructureerd en denkt in oplossingen;
• Je vindt het leuk om je vast te bijten in complexe processen en data-uitdagingen;
• Je stelt vragen, komt met ideeën en durft te experimenteren.

Within our procurement department, we are looking for an enthusiastic intern to contribute to an exciting and impactful automation project. Our suppliers make thousands of arrangements with our procurement team—around 2,000 connections and more than 7,000 storage locations—which are currently translated and entered manually into our system (Quintiq). This takes a lot of time and resources… and we want to change that.

Your mission? Research how we can fully automate this process using AI and smart tooling.

• Process analysis: map out how agreements between suppliers and procurement are currently processed;
• Data research: analyze input formats and the structure of supplier data;
• AI exploration: identify which AI models and automation solutions can be used for data translation and system input;
• Build a Proof of Concept (optional): for example, an AI script or workflow that automatically recognizes data and converts it into input for Quintiq;
• Provide recommendations on implementation and the impact on capacity and quality.

• You are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering & Management, Computer Science, or a similar field;
• You have an affinity with AI, automation, or process optimization;
• You work in a structured way and think in terms of solutions;
• You enjoy diving into complex processes and data challenges;
• You ask questions, share ideas, and are not afraid to experiment.
