Tax Analyst (m/f/d)
based in Hengelo, The Netherlands
General Summary: As a Tax Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company’s compliance with tax regulations, optimizing tax strategies and compliance, and supporting financial objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide expertise in local and international tax matters.
Core Functions:
Tax Compliance & Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of tax compliance documents, including BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) files, tax returns, and other relevant filings
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations.
Tax Strategy & Planning:
- Support the development and implementation of tax optimization strategies.
- Provide advice on the tax implications of business transactions and projects.
Audit & Risk Management:
- Assist in managing tax audits, liaising with tax authorities as necessary.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
Collaboration & Advisory:
- Provide tax-related guidance to internal teams on cross-border transactions and compliance.
- Work closely with the Finance and Legal departments to align tax strategies with corporate goals.
Reporting: Reports directly to the Controlling and Administrative Manager
RequirementsRequirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory (preferably in a multinational company).
- Knowledge of Dutch tax laws and regulations.
- Knowledge with international tax concepts specially transfer pricing (also VAT across EU member states).
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional fluency in English; Dutch and Portuguese are a strong advantage.
