- You support, maintain and contribute to the further expansion of our existing distribution networks for the Business line Agro Solutions. Initially focusing on The Netherlands and United Kingdom.
- You are actively present in all sectors within our Business Line Agro Solutions including agriculture, horticulture and post-harvest.
- You work very intensively in various sectors such as plant breeding, vegetable and ornamental cultivation, as well as soft fruit and hard fruit production and even tropical (fruit) crops.
- As the first point of contact for the distributors, you support them and their customers with high quality solutions and tailor-made advice regarding water quality, general hygiene and biosecurity. You do this through frequent consultation and personal visits to the dealers & customer.
- You provide technical advice (for example by performing microbiological analyses). You evaluate, report and explain to the customer and you are the first person of contact for all their technical questions.
- Participating in relevant trade fairs and other promotional events is also part of your responsibilities.
- You follow trends and developments in the market and respond to them as much as possible.
- You work within a young and dynamic team and you will report to your Area Manager.

Functie eisen
- Bachelor/HBO degree with a commercial attitude (Agro-Bio Technology or equivalent through experience).
- Strong interest in the horti- and agricultural sector, water treatment and hygiene & biosecurity.
- Affinity with the vegetable processing industry is a plus.
- Native Dutch speaking with thorough knowledge of English is required.
- Willing to travel frequently within The Netherlands, to the UK and Belgium.
- Preferably some working experience in a similar position.
- Excellent team player, relationship builder and networker.
