Warehouse Worker Ridderkerk

As a Warehouse Worker at Van Gelder Fruit & Vegetables, you make sure that fresh products leave the warehouse quickly, safely, and neatly every day. You work in a cooled, modern production environment where, together with your colleagues, you are responsible for packaging and preparing salads and other fruit and vegetable products for shipment. You lift boxes, stack them on pallets, and use sharp tools with care. Additionally, you keep your workplace clean and orderly, follow safety instructions closely, and pack salads according to clear guidelines. You work in shifts, including weekdays, Saturdays, and sometimes Sundays, with bonuses for evening and night shifts. The work is physical, in a temperature of about 7°C, where teamwork and good communication matter.

• Lifting boxes and stacking them on pallets
• Using knives and machines safely during packing
• Packing salads correctly according to instructions
• Keeping the workplace and production area clean
• Working according to safety rules
• Collaborating with colleagues in shifts
• Checking and replenishing stock as needed

You work full-time (38-45 hours per week), in rotating shifts from Monday through Sunday, with premiums for evenings, nights, and weekends.

• Communicative knowledge of Dutch or English
• Full-time availability (38-45 hours per week)
• Willingness to work in a cold environment (around 7°C)
• Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and stacking
• Experience as a warehouse worker, order picker, or production worker is a plus
• You strictly follow safety and hygiene rules
• Living within 50 km of Ridderkerk

• Salary between € 14.99 and € 21 per hour depending on experience and shifts
• Extra bonuses: 125% for evenings, 140% for nights, and 200% on Sundays
