As an analytics data engineer at Schiphol, you'll be the technical backbone of our Data Analytics Capability. You'll support our analysts with the right tools and efficient workflows, contributing to our mission of creating the world's most sustainable and high-quality airports.
Your role in our teamYou'll be the go-to person for technical support in data analytics, mentoring analysts and ensuring seamless operations. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing scalable data architectures that support Schiphol's 2050 vision
- Managing Azure Databricks administration, including controls, accounts, and access policies
- Implementing code quality measures through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and peer reviews
- Enforcing security-first practices and compliance frameworks across data workflows
- Driving innovation by prototyping advanced tools and optimizing analytics infrastructure
- Mentoring analysts on creating scalable, future-proof solutions
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- At least 3 years of experience as an analytics engineer, data engineer, or platform engineer
- Proven experience administering Azure Databricks environments
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering tasks
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, or GitHub
- Comfort working in an Agile environment and translating analytics needs to tech teams
