Bluewater Energy Services employs over 500 professionals globally, with 280 staff members based at our headquarters in Hoofddorp, conveniently located near the train station. The Application Administrator will join a focused team of five within the wider ICT Department, which comprises approximately 30 colleagues specialising in Hybrid Systems and Network, Servicedesk, Security, Project Management, Data Analytics, and Business Intelligence.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong collaboration with end users to fully leverage the capabilities of the software. They proactively remain informed about technological advancements, ensure that the software is utilised according to best practices, and drive optimisations within both the application and its associated processes.
The Application Administrator manages the entire application life cycle, including software implementation, maintenance, and optimization. Key duties are handling Intune packaging, deployment, technical support documentation, system enhancements, and advising on security, licensing, and upgrades in collaboration with ICT teams and vendors. Strong communication is required for effective teamwork.
Key activities include
- Monitoring application performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing resolutions;
- Preparing software packages with the necessary intake and documentation and deploying those packages;
- Configuring applications to meet organizational requirements;
- Providing user guidance or training following new or updated software releases;
- Collecting and analysing user feedback to contribute to future application development;
- Performing technical tests and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Possession of an MBO 4 degree in ICT;
- At least four years of relevant experience in application administration or a related field such as service desk operations;
- Knowledge of ITIL processes or similar frameworks;
- Openness to international travel for onshore and offshore assignments
- Actively contributes knowledge and expertise to support team development;
- Communicates clearly and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Proficient in English and preferably also in Dutch;
- Legally authorised to work in The Netherlands.
