Join Philips to drive life-changing innovation! We seek an experienced, hands-on Electrical Engineer to lead the design, engineering, and improvement of custom electrical appliances, test boxes, and manufacturing systems for our health technologies.
This is a critical, project-based role where you will ensure quality, reliability, and, most importantly, safety on the factory floor.
- Lead multidisciplinary projects (Electrical, Mechanical, Software) from concept to execution, managing budgets, planning, and progress.
- Design, engineer, and document new/existing electrical equipment and test systems.
- Serve as the go-to expert on electrical and machine safety, ensuring strict compliance with standards like NEN3140, Machine Directive, Low Voltage Directive, and ISO.
- Create technical documentation, assembly drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Manage assembly/installation work and provide hands-on support on the manufacturing floor.
Functie-eisen
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 4–8 years of experience in a development/production setting for industrial products.
- Mandatory skills in LabVIEW/Python.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant safety standards (NEN3140, ISO13849, etc.).
- Strong Project Management and excellent documentation skills.
- Dutch Native and proficient English (verbal and written).
- Willingness to work primarily on-site in manufacturing.
- Experience with Eplan is a plus.
