Houseman – Van der Valk Haarlem Introduction
At Van der Valk Haarlem, you will work as a Houseman in a hotel environment where you are responsible for keeping both the guest rooms and common areas clean and presentable. This is a flexible (weekend) job ranging from 5 to 38 hours per week, with a starting wage of €14.83 per hour and excellent additional benefits.

8% holiday pay and 26 vacation days

Job Description
As a Houseman, you are responsible for supporting the housekeeping team and maintaining the general hotel areas. You work independently or with colleagues and play an important role in the guest experience.
Your tasks include:
• Cleaning rooms and bathrooms, including vacuuming, mopping, and dusting
• Cleaning public areas such as the lobby, hallways, and restaurant
• Restocking toiletries, towels, and other amenities
• Transporting linen and waste within the hotel
• Ensuring a tidy and welcoming appearance of the hotel
• Being flexible and available at different times and locations
