Industrial Engineer

Join Fokker Landing Gear (part of GKN Aerospace), a recognized specialist in mission-critical landing gear systems. We build, assemble, and repair components for the world's most advanced aircraft, including the F-35 Lightning II and the Apache combat helicopter. Your expertise will directly ensure the safety and reliability of flight for thousands.

We seek an experienced Industrial Engineer to be the critical link between design and manufacturing. You will lead the industrialization of complex production processes—from machining and special processes to final assembly—at our multi-technology campus. This role ensures the efficient, seamless, and high-quality transition of new designs into full-scale production.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Industrialization: Lead the introduction of new products and processes from concept to production.
• Optimize Processes: Design and implement cutting-edge industrial layouts using Lean tools to maximize efficiency.
• Project Leadership: Manage complex industrialization projects, coordinating both internal teams and external vendors.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure compliance with strict quality standards (e.g., AS9100) and champion a safety-first mindset.
• Problem Solver: Utilize Root Cause Analysis to continuously improve processes and eliminate non-conformances.

• 10 + Years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in aerospace.
• Proven expertise in managing New Product/Process Introduction (Industrialization).
• Working knowledge of LEAN practices and industrial standards (APQP, Control Plans)
• Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to influence people and build effective working relationships globally.
• Fluency in English.
• Advantage: Knowledge of machining (milling, honing) and/or surface treatment (heat treatment, plating).
