Senior Frontend Engineer

Role Overview
We are a forward-thinking, company and a strategic leader in the HR-tech space, committed to building innovative frontend solutions. Our flagship project, HAPI Elements, is a mature, iframe-based micro-frontend platform that has been live and evolving for several years.
 
We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to take full ownership of this project and ensure its continued success and technical excellence.

 
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will:

• Own the HAPI Elements platform - from maintenance and bug fixes to feature development and performance improvements
• Collaborate across teams to integrate new features and enhance existing functionality
• Ensure high standards in performance, scalability, and security
• Write clean, maintainable code
• Documented changes and implementation guides for customers integrating our iframe solution
• Stay current with the latest trends in frontend development.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features within the HAPI Elements platform
• Implement complex features using JavaScript and modern frameworks
• Optimize the platform for speed and scalability
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and services
• Collaborate with external stakeholders: engineering teams that integrate our solution
• Write unit and integration tests for frontend components
• Review code to maintain code quality and best practices
• Document development workflows, architecture, and code changes.

 
Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React.js, Angular, Vue.js)
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture and design principles
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git)
• Experience integrating APIs and working with backend services
• Proficient in writing and executing tests
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Fluent in English (written and spoken). 

Nice to Have

• Experience with micro-frontend architectures
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of web accessibility best practices
• Experience working within Agile teams.

This role is fully remote. The ideal candidate should be able to work during CET time zones.
