The Engineering Department is responsible for providing innovative and cost effective Engineering services and solutions in all areas of Bluewater’s business. It ensures a responsible approach to client requirements, international rules and regulations and HSEQ obligations to contribute to the realization of the company’s goals and strategy.

As Structural Designer, you'll take the lead in designing structural work scopes for a wide range of projects, always aligned with technical specs, timelines, and budgets. From start to finish, you ensure quality, safety (HSEQ&RC), and efficiency are built into every step. Working closely with the Lead (Project) Engineer and other discipline designers, you'll contribute to key project meetings and decisions. As you gain experience and demonstrate good performance, there is potential for growth into a.o. specialist or lead designer role.
RequirementsWe are looking for a structural designer with good communication skills and with ambition to grow.
Furthermore you have:
- a Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Structural engineering or equivalent
- Ambition to contribute to continuous improvement of the design process and tools
- 3+ years of experience in the use of Inventor and Autodesk Vault for the design of heavy steel structures and/or machinery. Experience with AutoCAD is a pré
- Computer literacy for processing documents and spreadsheets
