We're looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on designing, building, and maintaining data products using the Microsoft Azure technology stack.
The perfect candidate will have a strong drive to ask questions, are willing to learn new tools and continuously improve their soft and hard skills. If you have experience with Azure, Databricks, PowerBI and Python, then I am looking for you!
This is a temporary position that will last until end of February 2026.
You will be part of the Agile Scrum team, who are working with advanced analytics tools across various systems to solve complex issues, collaborating closely with stakeholders. Your focus will be designing, building, and maintaining data products using the Microsoft Azure technology stack, with Power BI as the front-end.
This is a temporary assignment for 6 months, 40 hours per week. For this assignment we can not hire any freelancers, only a temporary contract via Independent Recruiters. We can offer you a salary around € 6500 - € 7000 gross per month based on 40 hours per week.
How we will proceed? Within four working days we will let you know if you qualify for the position. We will schedule an introductory interview, either digitally or in-person. During this interview we will inform you as fully as possible about the vacancy, the company and the following steps in the procedure. After consulting with you, we will introduce you to our client and then continue to guide you through the application process. Functie eisen
You bring with you:* Experience with analytics & BI tools, especially within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (e.g. Synapse, SQL pools, SQL Database, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks, Data Factory, Power BI);
* Technical proficiency in product development using languages such as Python, SQL);
* Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, version control tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, ARM, GIT), ETL/ELT processes and APIs;
* Understanding of Data Warehousing and Data modelling principles;
* Solid grasp of Power BI dashboard development and data visualisation best practices;
* Experience working in agile development teams;
* Strong communication skills in written and spoken English;
* Ability to analyse and translate business requirements into IT specifications, including proactively providing advice to IT developers & to Business stakeholders;
* Ideally familiarity of already have a good understanding of Energy Industry and Wind in particular.
