- Design and implement Grafana dashboards to visualize system performance metrics, logs, and traces.
- Configure and optimize the ELK Stack for efficient log aggregation and analysis.
- Integrate various data sources with Grafana to create comprehensive observability pipelines.
- Set up alerting mechanisms to notify teams of anomalies or critical issues.
- Manage log data ingestion and transformation using Logstash pipelines.
- Monitor infrastructure and application performance, analyzing telemetry data for trends and anomalies.
- Automate observability tool configurations and optimizations using infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to promote best practices and embed observability into workflows.
- Ensure observability solutions comply with security and data management standards.
A nice assignment in Amsterdam from September 2025 to the end of the year, for 32 hours per week. For this assignment, you can either work as a freelancer for an hourly rate of €90-€95, or be employed via us under a flexible contract, for a salary that ranges from € 7000 to € 8000 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week).

Functie eisen
* 5-7 years in observability, monitoring, or DevOps roles;* Hands-on expertise with Grafana for dashboards and data visualization;
* Proven experience with Elasticsearch and the ELK Stack (Logstash, Kibana);
* Proficiency in configuring and optimizing Elasticsearch indices and queries;
* Experience with Logstash for log parsing and transformation;
* Strong knowledge of Kibana for visualization and dashboard creation;
* Familiarity with integrating Grafana with various data sources (e.g., Prometheus, Open Telemetry);
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes);
* Please note that in order to be considered for this role, you need to be based in the Netherlands and fully eligible to work.
