Our client is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to lead a key initiative focused on integrating ethical and sustainable practices across company operations.
In this pivotal role, the Program Manager will oversee the strategic and day-to-day management of the Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) program. This includes ensuring compliance, managing risks, and fostering strong collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
This is a temporary assignment that will last until the end of 2025, with a hybrid working arrangement based at the company's office in Utrecht.

Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Oversee program management for Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) initiatives;
- Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy for effective communication and collaboration;
- Gather requirements for tools to capture third-party data from HREDD assessments and audits;
- Select and harmonize existing tools within the company for HREDD processes;
- Collaborate with internal departments (Risk & Compliance, Retail, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service) to validate risk assessments;
- Define measures to prevent adverse impacts and monitor the effectiveness of due diligence actions;
- Engage with external stakeholders for insights and information on due diligence steps.
A great assignment of 32 hours in Utrecht (working from the office twice per week) through the end of 20The salary will be between €8000 and €9000 per month, based on your skills and experience. Functie eisen
In order to succeed in this role, we ask that you have:* Proven experience in managing multi-stakeholder programs, specifically related to Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD);
* Ability to define and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy to ensure effective communication and collaboration across various teams;
* Experience in gathering requirements for tools that capture third-party data results from HREDD risk assessments, questionnaires, and audits;
* Proficient in selecting and harmonizing tools, with a preference for utilizing existing solutions within the organization;
* Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders, including Risk & Compliance, Retail, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Service;
* Ability to coordinate efforts to validate high-level risk assessments and define measures to prevent or address adverse impacts;
* Capable of monitoring the effectiveness of due diligence measures implemented across the business;
* Familiarity with B Corp standards, especially version 7, is considered a plus.
