Job Description:
To expand our service team, we are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, inspections and repairs to gas turbine installations at customer sites in the Netherlands and Belgium and sometimes elsewhere in Europe. You work independently or in a team on site, from home or at our office in Zoeterwoude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing maintenance inspections, fault diagnoses and repairs to gas turbine installations.
- Flexible response to unexpected situations, such as malfunctions or changes in planning (even outside regular working hours).
- Professional representation of Centrax to customers and external parties.
- Building and maintaining a strong customer relationship.
- Preparation of accurate reports and time registrations via our IT system.
- Working according to the quality management system and adhering to Centrax's health and safety policy.
- Participation in breakdown services according to a rotation schedule.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Completed technical education at MBO/HBO level (mechanical and/or electrical engineering or equivalent) or demonstrable technical work experience in a similar position.
- Experience in a field service position or similar hands-on technical role is a plus.
- Willingness to travel mainly within the Netherlands and Belgium, and sometimes to other European countries.
- Independent, proactive and a real team player.
- Good command of the Dutch language (both verbal and written) and reasonable knowledge of the English language.
- In possession of a valid driving licence B.
